LED lights come in various shapes, sizes and wattage.

 

Some of the benefits of LED lights are:

 

1. Savings on electricity.  The savings can be quite substantial over regular incandescent lights or halogen lights.  LED lights can save a significant amount of money due to the fact they require much less electricity to burn.  Some LED lights can last 5, 10 or even 20 years.

 

2. LED lights burn brighter than regular light bulbs.  LED lights burn brighter in addition to lasting longer.  If you have a dimmer switch, this will add to the savings as they burn brighter and dimmer switches can further reduce the amount of electricity consumed

 

3. LED lights are much cooler and don't produce as much heat as regular lights.  Thus if you need to change a bulb, you don't have to worry about the bulb being hot or have to wait for the bulb to cool down.

 

4. LED lights are more environmentally friendly due to the above reasons which also include less waste in landfills, recyclable, and of course the long life of an LED light!
